I'm back, I'm back, I'm back!!

It feels sooooo good to be back! (In Ft. Lauderdale, that is!)

Ok, I'm going to tell you guys something. You have to be sitting down. And, you must be warned that a heart attack could possibly ensue...

Friday night, I went bed at 1 a.m.

Yes, you read that correct. ONE A.M.!!!

Why on earth did I go to bed so late? Me, the girl who wakes at before the left cheek of the ass crack o' dawn?

Wellll.... you see it's like this:

It's really my sister's fault.

A year ago, she introduced me to an online gaming site. She gave me a free pass to play the member's only games. I like it so much that I decided to joing. AOL had a deal with the company that signing up would only cost $20 for the entire year. That's a steal of a price to play all the games you want and have access to all the features they offer.

Since becoming a member, Karyl has met several really cool friends through the site. She's "introduced" me to one in specific, Bucket. (her nickname, of course) Well now, I can play games with Bucket, with Karyl, by myself or all three of us can play simulateously. And all of the "game rooms" have a chat feature. It's highly addicting!!!

[Note to Sissie: thanks for being so polite and always introducing me in the game room... my own husband tends to forget to that in REAL LIFE sometimes!]

So, Friday night while Ben studied diligently for his Earth Space science exam, I decided to "pogo".

At first, I was just playing Lottso by myself. Then Bucket came on and she and I played Gin. Karyl came in the room and chatted with us while we played. (Some games are strictly 2 player games but other people can join in the game room and chat with the players, etc.)

Karyl was in and out of the game room while she tended to Gracie, made dinner, and other various chores around her house.

When she was done, we all decided to play a game I hadn't played before: Casino Island Blackjack.

OH, how FUN!!! I have to mention here that the game site we use has the coolest sounds, graphics, and other extras that make playing even more fun.

After several rounds, we decide to play Texas Hold 'Em poker. Five people play that game. So, two of Karyl's online friends joined the three of us. I don't know how, but the first three or four hands I totally raked in the chips! (Well, technically you earn virtual tokens.)

You start with 1000 tokens to bid with but by the time a few hands had played, I had 3800!! I nearly quadrupled my stake! At one poine, I won a hand but had no clue how. I thought I had a dead hand but apparently, I had a flush. I didn't even realize it.

I had so much fun. I only wish that I could do that more often with Bucket and Karyl. It was one of the best Friday nights that I've had in awhile!!

And to think...I was sober and didn't spend a dime! Nice!
