(Michele breaks out into the Holiday Christmas Dance)

Last night, Ben and I bought a Christmas tree. We always get a real tree and this year was no different. Although, we were tempted to buy an artificial tree due to lack of space in our RV. But, alas I was able to spot the "Perfect Tree" and we brought him home.

He is only about 5 or 5 and half feet tall, but he's full.... meaning he has a lot of branches. Bascially, a round and jolly looking tree. {if there is such a thing as a tree being jolly looking} :-)

Then we went to Target (did you expect we'd go anywhere else?!?) to buy decorations. I've always wanted to decorate a tree with only one or two colours to keep it looking pretty and this year I finally followed through on my wish. Our tree has small glass blown bulbs in shades of frosted white, shimmering gold, and sparkling opaque copper. There are 8 larger bulbs; 4 are frosted with gold glittering snowmen on them and the other 4 have a reindeer on them. Then we put just a few strands of silver icicles on the tree. {Icicles are Ben's favorite; I don't care for them, but it's his tree too!}

Finally, atop the highest branch sits our beautiful angel. Her dress and streamers are glittery gold and her angel wings are feathery and white. Behind the feathery wings are fiber optics that change colours continously. She is so pretty. We also have only clear white lights on the tree. It is the most elegant and beautiful tree I've ever seen!

We even listened to Christmas music on our stereo while we decorated.

There is just something magical about Christmas and the trees and lights. Ahhhh...... beautiful!
