This is take two! I had an entry all ready to go, minus the "Thought Of The Day" when poof! it was lost to the CyberGods. Grrr!!

Ok, I'll try to recreate the entry again. First, I have to give credit where it is due. I borrowed today's entry idea from Harrison. He's a really great friend of mine who is a superb diaryland diarist. Always makes me laugh.

That's my 8th grade school picture.

On my face: a hideous pair of plastic glasses bought at Lenscrafter's and chosen by my stepmom. Of course, back then my prescription was fairly weak; I could at least focus on things 5 feet in front of me without my glasses.

Under my shirt: white cotton bra, also chosen by said Stepmom. I'm sure it had the same appeal of the matching white, cotton granny-panties that adorned my butt.

On top of my head: a hideously bad haircut. Notice that one side is slightly "taller" than the other? Not only was I a Fashion Victim, but I was also a Victim Of The HairCuttery Hairstylist. (it's all I could afford back then!)

On my feet: a pair of black, high-topped Diadora's. Does ANYONE remember those?!?

On my body: generic brand jeans (Stepmom didn't believe in labels; not even good ole Levi's!) accopanied by a hideously obnoxious shirt that was purchased at a children's consignment shop.

In my purse: if the picture was taken on Friday, I'd have $10 burning a hole in my wallet from my weekly allowance.

On my face: A much more flattering pair of frames, bought also at Lenscrafters. My prescription is much, much stronger now. And no, I cannot focus on things 5 feet infront of me without them on!

Under my shirt: A tasteful, flesh colored bra bought at Victoria's Secret. It's lightly padded for support and so my nipples don't show-- you pervs!!! It coordinates with a pair of tan cotton undies also from Victoria's.

On top of my head: Long, straight hair that is almost one length. It's in desperate need of a cut & highlights. It's been 5 months since my last salon visit for crying-out-loud!

On my feet: a cute pair of brown suede-like Skecher lace-up boots. Very cute & very modern!!!

On my body: A red GAP teeshirt, Ralph Lauren jeans, white GAP-logo socks. Hey, I may wear labels now, but at least I buy them on clearance! This is all Stepmom's fault, you know! ;-)

In my purse: My prescription sunglasses, my car keys, my address book, TONS of lipsticks aquired with every "Gift Time" purchase, and my wallet.

In my wallet: A driver's license, VISA, debit/ATM card, insurance card, Blockbuster Rewards card, GNC Gold Card, and my Wolf Camera Club card. I also have several pictures of Patty's baby, Jaqueline as well as pictures of my sister, brother, Rosemarie & Ben. I have my checkbook (BALANCED!) and ironically, also a crisp $10 bill. I have $3.82 in change. $1.50 of that change is in half dollars---Ben gave them to me at the Lucky Strike Casino in Mississippi.

I haven't changed a whole lot; I'm still the same person basically but with some upgrades & improvements!!!
