From now on, I should make my diary entry before I read any of my "fav" diaries.

I woke up in this incredibly good mood and now I'm feeling kind of blah. I'm sure it'll go away and I can probably attribute it to PMS.

For me, when I do get PMS, I'm not grouchy or bitchy. Instead, I'm sad and blue. Some months it's just for a few moments, other times it's for a few days in a row.

Fortunately, I think this is just a fleeting moment of blah.

The reason for my blahness is that I'm feeling very detached from my family. I don't know how to put it into words. I wish I could eloquently describe the feelings that are swirling around inside me. For now, that description will just have to do.

On a more postive, happy note: I'm really excited about this weekend. We're going to Orlando to see Bill, Patty and Jacqueline. Jac is the world's cutest baby....until I have my own. Hee, hee.

We always have so much fun when we all get together. We end up laughing and laughing until our sides begin to hurt. They are great people. Yesterday was Bill's birthday. We got him a little something. He's a HUGE Florida Gators fan so we got him a Florida Gators tie. He now has to wear ties to work at his new job. He's really going to like it.

As many of you know, my husband, Ben is just the best!!! He's a super-duper great guy and I'm very lucky to have him in my life.

Here are just a few of the things that make him great:

1. He went to the pottery class with me last Friday and had a great time. Really. He had so much fun. In fact, his pottery turned out better than mine and I said to him, "Is there anything that I can do better than you?!?" We both laughed.

2. At the pottery class I mentioned to him that I felt badly that a tapestry my sister cross-stitched for us for our wedding was still in storage. So, Saturday when he went to visit his family, he stopped by the storage unit and got it out for me. Now, I'm looking for a frame to put it in so I can hang it on the wall. Note to Momma: you're right... the back looks just as good as the front. How does she do that?!?!?

3. He's always really good about helping around the house. He does dishes, he does laundry, he'll vacuum, dust, clean the toilet. He'll do just about anything if I ask him and need help with it. In fact, if he's playing Nintendo 64 and I'm bustling around the kitchen cleaning or cooking, he'll feel bad and immediately say to me, "What can I do to help?" I love that about him. :-)

When I think of how lucky I am to have a wonderful life partner and best friend such as my husband, Ben, suddenly nothing else really matters. All that sadness, blahness and blueness just washes away.

I'm so lucky!!!
